Erin grew up in the land of cheese (Wisconsin) after being born in the Seattle area. (She’s still upset about how the Seahawks cheated her beloved Packers out of a victory thanks to those replacement officials!) She grew up playing softball, basketball, volleyball, and tennis and got into cheerleading during high school. She has transitioned to spectating rather than playing in recent years.
She attended Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL where she graduated with a BS in Psychology and minors in Theology and Business. While there, she met her future husband at a line dancing party in the middle of nowhere in the corn fields of Indiana when both of their dorms ventured out on a group event. Erin has always been a serious sports fan thanks to her Dad’s love of sports. She bleeds green and gold (Go Packers!) but also roots for the New England Patriots (her husband’s team) and the Carolina Panthers.
She has been married to Leif since 2008 and they have two sons, Ethan. and Levi. After moving to Charlotte in 2009, she has really loved the southern culture and hospitality; and who wouldn’t love the south with the mild winters after coming from somewhere that you can see snow six months a year! She has been working at Church at Charlotte in the Community Life department, and is excited to be a part of CSO.
