I know that not everyone who reads this blog would identify with a church labeled as “missional” but I felt like this new website would be of some service. Missional Manifesto is a new website created by guys like Alan Hirsch, Dan Kimball, Tim Keller, and others clarifying what it means to be missional. I really appreciate the effort to clarify what this word means and think that some of the format and language used would be beneficial to those of you who lead sports ministries at churches. Perhaps you could use the format or some of the language to clarify what you do (or don’t do) as a ministry. Some of this language could be great for a volunteer job description/covenant as well.
