This post really has nothing to do with sports ministry but it was too powerful not to post.  Matt Chandler, a pastor of a large church in Texas, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.  The below article is from the Washington Post and it chronicles his journey thus far.  It’s really a must-read.

“The human experience commonly shared is suffering,” said Mark Driscoll, pastor of Seattle’s Mars Hill Church and a friend of Chandler’s. “If he suffers well, that might be the most important sermon he’s ever preached.”
