Tim is our resident Michigan Wolverine – growing up and going to college in the Great Lakes state. Since he bleeds blue, his least favorite sports team is understandably the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Tim got his first taste of Sports Ministry while doing an internship for his Community Recreation degree in Charlotte, NC at Calvary Church, one of CSO Mentoring churches (CHAMP Sports). After graduating from Central Michigan University, Tim and his wife Jenni moved to Charlotte in 2005, where Tim joined the Sports Ministry Staff at Calvary.

Tim worked with Calvary’s CHAMP Sports for 2.5 years before joining CSO in February 2007. He serves under the auspicious title of Director of Technology and Ministry Integration – reflecting his interest in Videography and the Web (especially reading blogs where he spends way too much time) to advance Sports Ministry. He enjoys the freedom and innovation of working at CSO while using his gifts and talents for building the kingdom of God.

Tim is also a pretty good athlete in his own eyes, actually once trying out for the Pittsburg Pirates. In addition to baseball, he grew up playing basketball and football and currently plays softball, basketball and flag football while also pursuing his interest in reading, listening to music, and Civil War history.

One final thought – Tim has never been accused of being overdressed and actually doesn’t own a suit!
